Key Responsibilities
The Deputy Chief Executive Officer will be an experienced executive with international experience being an added advantage. Goal, power generation, iron ore vanadium and titanium and the steel products, being driven by regulatory and technological changes. is poised for unprecedented growth in the local regional and international markets and accordingly.
The Deputy Chief Executive Officer will play an important role in assisting the Chief Executive Officer in developing positioning and promoting the objectives of Tanzania China International Mineral Resources Ltd and also the way in which the Company delivers.
The scope of this role is broad and the projected scale of coverage and the organization’s ambitious targets will require an entrepreneurial spirit.
The Role
Working with the Board to formulate strategies and plans;
Help drive the Company towards a position where it becomes a respected player in the sectors in which it operates;
Put in place a business development infrastructure and build capacity from within the Company;
Provide business acumen energy and vision for the Company
Providing training to local personnel and spearheading transfer of technology
The Person
Excellent record of achievement, in a dynamic corporate setting
Ability to think and act strategically whilst maintaining a pragmatic perspective
Notable successes in initiating and concluding projects
Experienced at nurturing R&D, business and political relationships and establishing long-term partnerships with various stakeholders
Competences in project management, marketing and financial analysis
Strong influencing style and executive presence; articulate and confidentwith ability to foster an atmosphere for maximum output from subordinates
Minimum qualification of post graduate degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, process, output from subordinates
Minimum qualification of post graduate degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, process, mining or geology) economics or business administration
A major in international business and ability to speak and write in Mandarin would be an added advantage.

Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Swahili
Knowledge of Chinese Language (Mandarin) will be an added advantage.

Job Title: Deputy Chief Financial Officer (1)

Job Descriptions
The Deputy Chief Financial Officer will be an experienced executive and will assist the Chief Financial Officer in planning, directing and controlling finances as well as ensuring financial due diligence as per professional standards and national laws.

The Role
Ensure adherence to accounting and financial standards as per IFRS, ISA and Tanzania legislations, with comprehensive internal policies and procedures; coordinate the annual planning and budgeting process and interim forecasts, monitor actual performance against plan and budget and recommend corrective action when appropriate;
Develop and maintain systems for controlling physical assets and working capital; Manage corporate relationship with customers and stakeholders and establish credit control procedures with the aim of balancing sales growth with minimizing overdue payments;
Establish internal controls to ensure efficiency and compliance in tax matters and compliance with human resource legislation, policies and procedures;
Conduct financial analysis and preparation of detailed financial reports and statements;
Respond to auditors' comments concerning finances and operations of the Company and implement any action that may be required to address deficiencies.

Qualifications
The Person
A holder of Master's Degree either in Accounts, Finance, Economics, Public Finance, or equivalent qualification and registration with National Board of Accountants and Auditors in the category of Associate and Fellow being a mandatory requirement
An experienced individual with a demonstrable record for working in a similar position and ability to speak and write in Chinese Language (Mandarin) will be an added advantage.

General terms and conditions
Term of Engagement: Three years employment contract renewable with six months probation period.
Remuneration: The post carries competitive remuneration and incentive package
